Two Amazing Volunteer Opportunities

Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) Assist
Volunteers are needed to answer telephones, verify information, provide energy education and copy documentation. Volunteer will serve at one of Community Action Council’s neighborhood center locations. The program starts November 3rd and continues through December 12th.
Volunteer training will be held on:
October 16th at 10:00 A.M. at 913 Georgetown Street
October 21st at 3:00 P.M. at 3439 Buckhorn Drive
Golf Tournament Assistant
Volunteers will be helping make the Pat Smith Endowment Fund Cadillac Invitational Golf Tournament a success! The vast majority of the volunteers will be asked to accompany foursomes of golfers through the tournament to keep score. Other volunteers will be needed to assist the golfers in registration and to serve as witnesses for contests being held during the tournament (Hole-In-One contest and Putting Contest).
The estimated net amount we hope to make through this tournament is $50,000, all of which will go to the Pat Smith Endowment Fund. All of the funds in The Pat Smith Endowment Fund directly benefit Lexington Habitat for Humanity’s mission of alleviating poverty housing in Fayette County, Kentucky
All volunteers will be briefed on how to keep score for a golf foursome, as well as how to help the tournament participants properly register.
