Fundraiser at Max and Erma’s

The Bluegrass Council of the Blind is holding a fundraiser at Max and Ermas in Beaumont Center on December 16.  Go eat, and 20% of your sale will be donated to this organization, which provides invaluable resources to several of your fellow volunteers.

You will need a coupon to take with you, which we have in the volunteer offices.

New Features on the Volunteer Sign In System

Many of you are currently using your online Volunteer Information Center to view, put yourself on, and take yourself off of the volunteer schedule.  Thanks to a nifty new upgrade, you will now be able to perform these actions at the touch screen sign-in system in the Saint Joseph Hospital Volunteer Office.

At the opening screen, you will put your badge number is as always.  You will see there is now a button that says “View My Schedule”.  When you touch this button, your schedule will appear in calendar format.  You will be able to see when you are scheduled to volunteer as well as see what openings are available.  You can touch on the date to add or take yourself off of the schedule.

Next time you are in the Saint Joseph Hospital Volunteer Office, ask Gail or I to walk you through this…we will be happy to help you!!
